About me
As a designer and art & design director with 20 years of experience in visual communication and branding, I have specialized in creating unique brand identity concepts, developing bespoke visual identities and integrating overall brand communication.
I’ve set high standards in supporting the businesses I work with, navigating them and helping them build clever and long-lived brands in an elusive and everchanging market.
I rely on a selected network of coworkers that projects require and when needed, coordinate creative or interdisciplinary teams. During projects, I help to establish and implement in-house design processes and educate about keeping your own brand hygiene. With a hands-on approach, I help even the most complex project unfold in a way that the whole team can contribute and take over. Except for the quality of the cooperation process, I make sure the best ideas, planted in a strategic base, come to life.
I am an expert in branding from scratch, with visual identity and communication perfectly planted into its strategic base. The resulting brand identities are always planned for business longevity, and most of the brand identities I made a long ago still resist rebranding after more than 10 or 15 years of service*. Thanks to this level of reliability, some of my professional cooperation take decades** and others reap industry awards***.
In 2020, I was selected as one of Creativepool’s Top 10 Art Directors to look out for in 2021. My work has won a number of industry and design awards, including the Bronze Cannes Lion 2021 for Design, Art Directors Club New York “Best of Discipline” for Packaging Design 2021, three Red Dot Awards and a Cresta Award, to name a few. She is a member of HZSU (Croatian Freelance Artists Association) and CDA (Croatian Designers Association). To read more from the media, please look at the > References.
Experience and clients
Working with clients with an organized net of top professionals and collaborating with selected creative teams and agencies, I have carried out many successful design, art direction, branding and communication projects. Some of them were done for:
Arena Hospitality Group (Grand Hotel Brioni Pula, A Radisson Collection Hotel branding & signage, signage at Punta Verudela peninsula, visual identities for Sophia, Secondi & Lungomare restaurants; Giardini & Specialty Coffe bars, Gemma Di Brioni & Senseas Wellness branding), Park Plaza Hotels Europe, Falkensteiner Resort Punta Skala (signage design, Summer festival visual identity), GoEs Furniture (GoEs brand identity), Valamar Hotels & Resorts (Pical-convention visual identity), Maistra Hospitality Group (Grand Park Hotel Rovinj visual identity & signage), Radgonske Gorice (Untouched by Light*** sparkling wine design), CHR Eko-Projekt (Nikola concrete book), Kamgrad (Miljana Castle), Alca*, Faculty of Mechanical Engineering and Naval Architecture, UNHCR, Fond Nek — Fund for financing the decommissioning of the Krško Nuclear Power Plant** (visual identity), Noelle brush (brand style guide and we love you to be yourself campaign art direction), various small premium beverage brands (wineries & breweries) as well as boutique & family hotels.
Focus on Hospitality Branding
With a focus on hospitality and luxury branding in close connection to premium food and beverages, as well as signage and wayfinding design, I work across all aspects that contribute to creating an experience of a place. Whether it is a luxury hotel or resort, a winery, a campsite, a conference centre, a wellness or a restaurant — the principles remain the same. The branding & communication have to reach and intrigue guests long before they arrive at the destination.
